Lydia, the daughter of Mike and Sherri Strouse, is a 2018 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She plans to attend North Central State College this fall and study radiology.

Lydia intends to get her associate’s degree in radiological sciences before going on to earn her bachelor’s degree. “I was enrolled in numerous College Credit Plus courses in high school, earning 14 credit hours. By earning so many credits, I qualified for the tuition freedom scholarship at NCSC. This will allow me to live at home and earn my associate’s degree along with my radiology certificate. I then plan to enroll at a four year college to earn my bachelor’s degree in agribusiness. I chose this major so I would have a backup career until any future opportunities arise with my father’s feed business.” After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, Lydia will be making some choices. “I will determine at that time whether to start working with my father at Westside Feed or get a job in the radiology field. I would like to stay in the community, get married, and start a family.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Lydia!
