Adam, the son of David and Kathleen Paynter, is a 2012 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He is entering his final year of education at Ohio University to earn a doctoral degree in physical therapy.

Wanting to help more people, Adam decided on a post graduate education. “I completed my undergrad at BGSU, becoming a certified athletic trainer. There I realized that I didn’t want to limit myself to only helping athletes,” stated Adam. “…I thoroughly enjoy the wide range of patients that I see as a physical therapist.” After graduation, Adam wants to focus on kids. “[I] plan on working in an outpatient orthopedic setting with a focus on pediatric sports,” Adam explained. “I would like to fully utilize my knowledge…to progress injured individuals from their time of injury all the way back to high level performance and beyond.” His plans, however, do not stop there. “I hope to someday have my own clinic and to start preventative health programs for farmers and manual laborers that cater to their busy schedules in order to help them get the highest quality care possible.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Adam!
