Brooklyn, the daughter of Sean Spears and Ashley Diebler, is a 2018 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She plans to attend The Ohio State University – Marion Campus this fall and study business.

Brooklyn was inspired to major in business by two people. She explains, “I would say I am inspired by my mother and Mr. Funigiello, [my junior year Media Communication’s course teacher]. Mr. Funigiello has shown me so many creative and enjoyable career paths I could go into if I were to major in business. My mother has inspired me to follow my dreams and get the degree I want. She pushes me to become a successful individual and to strive to be on top.” After graduation, Brooklyn wants to become a sports agent but understands the challenges of getting into this career path. “I am expecting to take multiple internship opportunities...[and] work and work and work until I achieve my goal of becoming a successful sports agent in the NBA or MLB.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Brooklyn!
