Cieara, the daughter of Darren and Chrystal Pfeifer, is a 2018 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She plans to attend Kent State University this fall and study computer science.

With family in the field and a summer immersion program, Cieara was inspired to choose her career choice. “I participated in a coding summer immersion program in 2016 in Redwood City, California. Throughout the program I learned how to code in multiple different languages and that there are many job opportunities in that field. I soon developed a passion for it and decided that is what I would like to do for a career,” she explained. “…I had many amazing mentors throughout the program and my uncle is in the field.” After graduation, Cieara plans to work in her chosen field. “My career goals are to get my foot in the door as soon as possible after college. [I plan] to work hard to raise my skill level, …work on projects in a company that I am passionate about, [and]…learn every day to make myself a better individual and employee.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Cieara!
