Jenna, the daughter of David and Traci Coffman, is a 2018 graduate of Wynford High School. She plans to attend The Ohio State University and study pre-nursing.

Jenna’s sister, Allie, inspired her to choose her major. “My younger sister, Allie, is who inspired me to choose pre-nursing as my major,” she explained. “Allie is 16 years old and has a disability called Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is very challenging and leaves her unable to speak or eat food through her mouth. Over the last 16 years of my life, I have been to countless checkups, doctors’ appointments, and surgeries. I have watched many nurses work with Allie, and their kindness, gentleness, and compassion has inspired me to be a nurse as well.” After graduation, Jenna intends to work and enjoy it. She would like to work “in some sort of hospital or clinic” but hasn’t decided what kind of nurse she wants to be or in what setting specifically she wants to work. “My career goal is to help others as much as I can and enjoy myself while doing so.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Jenna!
