Kayleigh, the daughter of Curtis and Michelle Ashley, is a 2017 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She is entering her 2nd year of a bachelor’s degree in psychology at The Ohio State University-Marion Campus.

A job coach position inspired Kayleigh to pursue psychology. “In May of 2017, I started at the Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities as a job coach. I fell in love with my position and working with people with disabilities,” Kayleigh commented. “After my first summer, I knew I wanted to stay in this area and continue working with people with disabilities, and psychology is my path to get there.” After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she plans to pursue further education. “I’m going to work towards my LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker) at Ohio State through the ASAP (Advanced Standing Alternative Plan) program. After grad school, I plan to become a vocational rehabilitation counselor for individuals with disabilities.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Kayleigh!
