Lydia, the daughter of Gregory and Amy Tadda, is a 2018 graduate of Crestline High School. She plans to attend Kent State University this fall and study nursing with a specialty in neonatal or pediatric oncology.

Lydia’s many traits helped her see the perfect career path for herself. “While growing up, I noticed that many traits became important to me…such as leading others, caring for others, helping and noticing others, and always putting others before myself,” she stated. “I also began to notice that taking care of children was something I enjoyed doing. Becoming a nurse tackles not only one of these individual traits but all. Nursing allows me to lead my patients and co-workers, care for the many children…, help distinguish and cure many sicknesses, illnesses, or diseases.., and allows me to put my patients’ needs before myself. With that being said, I believe nursing will be the best field of work for me, and I cannot wait to pave my nursing path!” After graduation, Lydia has many goals for her future. “I…plan on pursuing a career at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and working on the pediatric floor. Later in life, I plan to further my education by earning my master’s [degree] as a primary pediatric nurse practitioner,” she explained. “I plan to stay at Nationwide once receiving my master’s [degree] and use my many skills to save children’s lives, reassure patients, lead others, build relationships, and put positivity back into my patients’ lives.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Lydia!
