Caleb, the son of Heather Johnson, is a 2019 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He will be attending Bowling Green State University this fall and studying social work.

Caleb was inspired to choose social work after a volunteering experience. “I always enjoy myself volunteering in the community,” he explained. “After volunteering for a local program called Safety Town, I knew I wanted to work with people. I was able to see my potential and the influence I had on my community. I saw my impact… and it was very rewarding. We all have a role in our community, and I believe we all should play an active one.” After graduation, Caleb wants to work in a school. “I would love to practice social work in some kind of school setting. A school social worker is at the top of my list. I would love to run programs…and play a very active role in the community I live in. It is very important to give back.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Caleb!
