Danielle, the daughter of Michael and Tracy Horsley, is a 2019 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She will be attending Otterbein University this fall and studying middle childhood education.

Teachers from her past inspired Danielle to choose to major in education. “I have had great teachers in the past, and they have had large impacts on my life,” she expressed. “I want to major in middle school education because I believe those are the most impactful years as a student. I have amazing teachers during this age that showed me that they truly cared about my success. I could be this figure for future students. Middle childhood is filled with changes, and I would love to be there to support them throughout school.” After graduating, Danielle plans to “obtain a career that I look forward to doing every day. I want to be able to help others and… have the ability to go into work and brighten someone else’s day.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Danielle!
