The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Donna Richardson, a 2019 recipient of two scholarship awards: the Kiwanis Kahle-Wenner Scholarship and the Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship.
Donna, the daughter of Michael Richardson and Anna Garcia, is a 2019 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Marion Technical College this fall and studying nursing.
Donna was inspired to choose nursing from her love for helping people. “I realized after going to clinicals for my STNA class that helping others is what I am meant to be doing,” she stated. After graduation, Donna intends to work in her chosen field. Her goals are to “be working as a nurse somewhere in Ohio [and] “have a place of my own and start a family.”
