The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Emma Studer, a 2019 recipient of one of the six Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.
Emma, the daughter of Matthew and Tammy Studer, is a 2017 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is entering her third year of a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Findlay.
Emma was inspired to choose psychology because she wants to be an occupational therapist. “I desire to use my creativity and problem-solving skills in order to enable individuals to be independent,” Emma declared. “I especially want to give my services to those in third-world Spanish-speaking countries that cannot afford therapy. With this career, I can continue to broaden my mind while using my personality to assist others in their goals.” After graduating, Emma wants to work in a hospital or out-patient center and “lead service programs with other medical personnel to Spanish-speaking countries.”
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Emma!
