Isabelle, the daughter of Lance and Kristi Biglin, is a 2017 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is entering her fourth year of a bachelor’s degree in social work at The Ohio State University.

Isabelle has always been interested in people’s stories. “Walking down a busy city street, looking at all the lit up windows in apartment buildings, seeing faces in cars as they rush by – all instill within me a desire to know each person’s story,” she stated. “Humanity is a chaotic mess of tangled stories and emotions, some intertwined, some parallel, some intersecting once and never again – like the most colorful tapestry mankind has ever known. As a social worker, I will have the privilege of hearing people’s stories every day.” After graduating, Emma intends to “go to graduate school, get yoga teacher training certified in India, and move out to the mountains and work as a clinical therapist in a children’s hospital. My main goal is to write a book illuminating this colorful mess of human stories so that I can share my passion with others. “

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Isabelle!
