The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jaden Deskins, a 2019 recipient of one of the twenty Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Jaden, the son of Bobby and Nicole Deskins, is a 2019 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He will be attending The Ohio State University's Mansfield campus this fall and studying finance.
Life experience and an educational program inspired Jaden to choose finance. “I have been inspired to major in finance by seeing first hand money problems… [and] Reality Days, a program put on by Huntington Bank to get high school students to better understand financial decisions in the real world,” he explained. “I hope to help people with their financial states so they don’t struggle.” After graduation, Jaden wants to live in a big city to fulfill his goals. “I plan to live in a large city…and manage money for a large company. I would love to have a nice family, large home, and a nice car or two. My dream cars are a Ford Mustang and a Ferrari Portofino! No matter where I end up, I will always be a Buckeye! Go Bucks!”
