Sarah, the daughter of Nancy Lipscomb, is a 2019 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending the University of Findlay this fall and studying nursing.

Sarah’s many experiences in the medical field inspired her to choose nursing. “I had many injuries during my high school career, so I spent a lot of time around doctors, nurses, and physical therapists,” she explained. “As I got older, I took note of what each of these people did, and I became more interested. I also want to be a nurse because of my interest in science, especially anatomy and physiology. Additionally, I have a passion for serving others, and I believe the nursing profession is a good fit for that.” Sarah’s plans and goals for the future are numerous. “After graduating from the University of Findlay with my BSN degree, I want to work as a registered nurse. Eventually, I would like to get my master’s degree and become a nurse practitioner. In terms of life goals, I hope to get married, have a family, and become a mom. I would definitely consider moving back home to Bucyrus. Additionally, I have always had a passion for baking, and I have a dream of opening my own bakery someday.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Sarah!
