2020 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Reece Zeigler

Posted by Amy Vaughn on Fri, Jul 03, 2020

The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Reece Zeigler, a 2020 recipient of one of the two Kiwanis Kahle-Wenner Scholarship awards and one of the eighteen Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.

Zeigler, ReeceReece, the son of Chad and Michelle Zeigler, is a 2020 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He will be attending Hiram College this fall and studying graphic design and computer science.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I have always had a passion for computers and graphics.  Throughout high school, I have taken classes that have involved both of these subjects. I really enjoyed them, and I knew that it was the career path I wanted to pursue.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“I hope to always stay involved with golf, whether I would be designing golf equipment, golf web pages, or graphics for a company.  My plan is to move to a bigger city where I can have these opportunities.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Reece!
