Alspach, RyleeThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Rylee Alspach, a 2020 recipient of one of the two Marvis Schaaf Scholarship awards.

Rylee, the daughter of Michael and Peggy Alspach, is a 2020 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending Costal Carolina University this fall and studying psychology.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I have always been very interested in criminal justice and psychology since I was a young child. I have always loved to do puzzles and solve mysteries. These things have led me to choose this major because it is something I enjoy, and I am very excited to start my future schooling and new beginning.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“My goal is to get a degree in psychology and possibly minor with a concentration of forensics. I would love to be in the FBI one day as a profiler. That would be my major goal to achieve. But as of now I am planning on getting a degree in psychology and see where that takes me.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Rylee!
