Crawford County: The Community Foundation for Crawford County recently learned that they were awarded 1st Place for “Best Peer-to-Peer Campaign” in Network for Good’s #GivingTuesday campaign.

Network for Good uses the internet and mobile technology to securely and efficiently distribute thousands of donations from donors to their favorite charities each year. For the second time on November 29th, the Foundation used Network for Good’s fundraising software in their #Giving2sday efforts, and it really paid off.

“It was already amazing that we raised over $111,000 in our small community,” commented Lisa Workman, the Foundation President. “Then we found out from Network for Good that we had the most active peer-to-peer campaign out of 6,355 nonprofits that were part of their customer-only #GivingTuesday campaign!” The prize includes a $500 donation from Network for Good.

Next year, The Community Foundation for Crawford County will again raise funds on #Giving2sday, scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Since 1984, the Foundation has been bridging philanthropy with causes that improve Crawford County’s quality of life.
