2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Douglas Weinandy

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce  Douglas Weinandy, a 2023 recipient of one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold  Scholarship awards, one of the nine Glen and Alice Beers Scholarship awards,  and one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.

 Douglas, the son of Gregg Weinandy and Terri Searcy, is a 2004 graduate of  Bucyrus High School. He will be entering his first year of a Doctoral Degree in  Criminal Justice at Liberty University this fall.

 Courtney, the daughter of Gregory Neil Hildebrand and Kathleen Suzanne  Hildebrand, is a 1999 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be entering her  second year of a Master's Degree in Social Work at Ohio University this fall.

#CrawfordForGood Nonprofit Registration Deadline is July 21st

Our Foundation is launching a 2-day online giving event, #CrawfordForGood. This event will begin at 8am on Tuesday, July 25th and continue through 8pm on Wednesday, July 26th. Our goal is to raise much-needed operating funds for you, our fellow nonprofits. You fight for good every day in our community - we want to make sure you are here for good, forever!

Huggins Agricultural Scholarship  awards, one of the  six L. Earl Smith Scholarship awards, one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner,  MD Scholarship awards, and one of the four Robert Schwaderer Scholarship awards.

 Sidney, the daughter of Michael Long and Andrea Long, is a 2016 graduate of  Buckeye Central High School. She will be entering her fourth year of a Doctorate  program in Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University this fall.
