We have a broad range of local nonprofits participating in #CrawfordForNow from food pantries and soup kitchens to art appreciation and animal rescue organizations. Our local nonprofits have given so much to our community - now is the time to give back to them. If you are able, please consider making a donation to one or more of these impactful organizations. No amount is too small to make a difference.

#CrawfordForGood Nonprofit Registration Deadline is TOMORROW!

2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Grant Shook

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Grant  Shook, a 2023 recipient of one of the two James E. Huggins, Sr. and Margaret  M. Huggins Agricultural Scholarship awards, one of the six L. Earl Smith  Scholarship Fund awards, and one of the four Robert Schwaderer Scholarship  awards.

 Grant, the son of Brent Shook and Sandra Shook, is a 2019 graduate of Buckeye  Central High School. He will be entering his first year of a doctoral program to  obtain his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University this  fall.

2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Trevor Shade

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Trevor  Shade, a 2023 recipient of one of the five Merle and Peg Hutson Scholarship  awards.

 Trevor, the son of John Shade and Amanda Shade, is a 2023 graduate of  Crestline High School. He will be attending the University of Northwestern  Ohio this fall and studying HVAC/R.

 Emma, the daughter of Jason Kirby and Misti Kirby, is a 2022 graduate of  Crestline High School. She will be entering her second year of a Bachelor's  Degree in Psychology at Marietta College this fall.

2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Douglas Weinandy

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce  Douglas Weinandy, a 2023 recipient of one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold  Scholarship awards, one of the nine Glen and Alice Beers Scholarship awards,  and one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.

 Douglas, the son of Gregg Weinandy and Terri Searcy, is a 2004 graduate of  Bucyrus High School. He will be entering his first year of a Doctoral Degree in  Criminal Justice at Liberty University this fall.
