Briley, the daughter of Jeran and Nichole Pollock, is a 2020 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending The Ohio State University Marion Campus this fall and studying speech and hearing sciences. **What inspired you to choose your intended major?** “I have always wanted to choose a career path that is centered around working with younger aged kids and helping others. I have also wanted to choose a job in the medical field or something near that. Growing up I never had to take speech lessons but some friends of mine did. When I started to think of careers, speech pathologist crossed my mind, and after doing many hours of job shadowing a speech pathologist, I saw myself enjoying and succeeding in that career.” **What are your career and life goals after you graduate?** “After I graduate, I would like to see myself succeed in my major of speech and hearing sciences and being a speech pathologist. I would like to work with children preferably elementary level. I hope to find a job I enjoy in the Crawford County area and start a family.” Congratulations and good luck in the future, Briley!
