The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Samantha Castle, a 2020 recipient of one of the five fall semester Pry Scholarship awards.
Samantha, the daughter of David and Erica Castle, is a 2009 graduate of Galion High School/Pioneer Career & Technology Center. She is attending North Central State College and studying nursing.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
“I have been working as an STNA (state tested nursing assistant) for over a decade.”
What are your career goals after you graduate?
“I would like to work in the local hospital to better help my community.”
What are you enjoying most at college?
“I am enjoying learning new, applicable skills.”
What advice would you give a non-traditional student who is contemplating taking college courses?
“Manage your time well and keep up with your homework.”
