Scott, AllisonThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Allison Scott, a 2021 recipient of one of the four Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship awards.

Allison, the daughter of William and Jennifer Scott, is a 2021 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending Louisiana State University this fall and studying architecture.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I was uncertain on what I wanted my major to be for a very long time. However, I realized that I'd always admired the structure and design of various buildings. I took into consideration the depth of the education necessary to become an architect, and knew it was something I could do. This major would allow me to think critically and showcase my creativity.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“After I graduate, my main goal is to be happy with the direction I am headed. Even if I end up changing my major, I hope to be the hardest worker in my field and never be satisfied, always pushing the bar. In life, I hope to have a family at some point and raise my children as well as my parents raised my brother and me.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Allison!
