The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Brandon Vent, a 2023 recipient of one of the four Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship awards.
Brandon, the son of Michael K. Vent and Angela M. Vent, is a 2023 graduate of Wynford High School. He will be attending the University of Northwestern Ohio this fall and studying Robotics Engineering.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"This particular degree will allow me the ability to learn a wide variety of technical trades. I will then have the ability to work in a manufacturing facility in the technical and management industry. Under this trade, it will also allow me to work in the farming industry with the programming for some of the local area businesses."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"While attending college, I plan to work while going to school and then hope to get a good job after graduating. I would like to continue my dream of farming and being back in my local community while being able to work and provide for a family."
