Kaitlyn Best

The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce     Kaitlyn Best, a 2023 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of   Fame Scholarship awards and one of the three Tyler Niese Memorial   Scholarship awards.

Kaitlyn, the daughter of Mr. Richard Best and Ms. Angela Best, is a 2023   graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She will be attending Bowling Green   State University this fall and studying Psychology.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I chose to major in psychology because I want to become a mental health counselor. I was inspired to pursue this career by my own counselor, Mrs. Sansanee Longbrake. She has helped me through so much mentally, and I want to make a positive impact on other people's lives the way she has made a positive impact on mine."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"My career goals after graduation are to obtain the required degrees to become a mental health counselor for kids. My life goals are to just have a happy life and work to make others happy and make a difference in the world."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Kaitlyn!
