2024 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Bren Jones

Bren JonesThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Bren Jones, a 2024 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.

Bren, the son of Curtis Jones and Tonya Jones, is a 2024 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He will be attending Ashland University this fall and studying Marketing.

 

 

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I was inspired to choose my major by my economics teacher, Mr. Oswald. While in class with him, he showed us how the business world works, and he always made it very fun. Through that class, I decided I wanted to major in marketing."

What are you career and life goals after you graduate?

"After I graduate college, I hope to start a family and get a good job. With my degree, I hope to get a high-paying job, so I am able to support my family and help others."
