The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Brynn Pope, a 2024 recipient of one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards, one of the six L. Earl Smith Scholarship awards, and one of the four Robert Schwaderer Scholarship awards.
Brynn, the daughter of Bryan Pope and Rebecca Pope, is a 2021 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is in her fourth year of a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Education & Agronomy at Wilmington College.
What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?
"My favorite aspect of college life is all of the opportunities to grow and learn there are. All of the clubs and organizations at Wilmington provide students with many ways to engage and explore more areas of interest."
What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?
"My interests that have grown throughout my time at Wilmington are soil science and Agricultural technologies."
In what way has the college experience changed/improved you?
"My college experience has taught me to take advantage of opportunities to learn new things and challenge myself."
What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?
"I would advise college freshmen to get involved but to not force yourself to stay in something that does not bring you joy."
What is one item on your bucket list and why?
"I want to visit all 50 states because of their vast diversity and all of the things each has to offer."
