The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Linnea Gerlach, a 2024 recipient of one of the two Dr. Laurie Anne Rhodebeck Memorial Scholarship awards and the Holmes Liberty Alumni Scholarship award.
Linnea, the daughter of Bradley Gerlach and Kathleen Wren, is a 2024 graduate of Wynford High School. She is attending Syracuse University this fall and studying Chemistry and Forensic Science.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"Chemistry and forensic science both challenge me. I feel like I learn something new every day, which keeps the topics interesting."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"Eventually, I plan on earning my PhD and working in the field of forensic toxicology."
