2024 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Nathan Rabun

Posted by Rachel Jarvis on Sun, Jun 09, 2024

Nathan RabunThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Nathan Rabun, a 2024 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards.

Nathan, the son of Scott Rabun and Corri Rabun, is a 2024 graduate of Wynford High School. He will be attending Wittenberg University this fall and studying Nursing.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"My mother and aunt both work in the medical field. Being able to watch them as I grow up while they work with people was inspiring. I have always enjoyed working with others and helping them, and I felt as if nursing would fulfill that in my life."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"After graduation, I hope to work in a pediatrics wing of a hospital or pediatrics office. From there, I hope to gain years of experience, and if I feel I am in the right position of my life, I have thought of going back to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Nathan!
