Tyler MasonThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Tyler Mason, a 2024 recipient of one of the four Robert Schwaderer Scholarship awards and one of the three Tyler Niese Memorial Scholarship awards.

Tyler, the son of Terry Mason and Kristie Mason, is a 2024 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He will be attending The Ohio State University- Mansfield this fall and studying Engineering Technology.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I enjoy working with my hands and creating new ideas. I took the Engineering Design Tech course at Pioneer and was able to learn CAD and Architecture and realized this is what I would like to do with my career."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"I would like to get a job in Engineering and hope to make a lot of money in the future. Not sure where I would start looking at job opportunities, but the new Intel plant coming to Ohio would be great."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Tyler!
