Briana WestrickThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Briana Westrick, a 2025 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"During a job shadowing experience with a local realtor, I wanted to deepen my understanding of not only the real estate industry, but also the skills necessary for becoming a successful businesswoman. It was during this experience that I was suggested to pursue a marketing major, as it is essential for navigating today's highly competitive housing market. This advice resonated with me, as I recognized the importance of integrating marketing principles into real estate to effectively reach clients and drive success. Through this major, I am eager to study key areas such as consumer behavior, digital marketing, brand development, and data analysis, which are critical skills for establishing a strong and influential presence in the real estate sector."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"Upon graduation from Heidelberg, I aim to pursue a career in real estate, initially working as an agent within a reputable brokerage to gain valuable industry experience. My long-term goal is to eventually establish my own real estate agency. In the next ten years, I envision leading a successful business with a dedicated, highly skilled team. I aspire to become a trusted local realtor, recognized for my integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to guiding clients through the complexities of buying and selling with confidence. Building strong, lasting relationships within my community will be at the core of my work, ensuring that my clients feel well-supported and informed throughout every stage of the process. Ultimately I hope to be known not only for my business acumen but also for my kindness, diligence, and dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Briana!
