Elizabeth KrebsThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Elizabeth Krebs, a 2025 recipient of one of the 10 Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.

Elizabeth, the daughter of Susan Krebs and Michael Krebs, is a 2025 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Bowling Green State University this fall and studying Finance and Accounting.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"When it came to choosing a major, I had a difficult time picking. For the longest time, I just focused on grades rather than discovering interests. However, when I took the required financial management class through my high school, I found that I really enjoyed working with the numbers and money. I have always done well with mathematics and discovered that finance and accounting would be a good career path for me."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"After graduating Buckeye Central High School, I will be attending Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in the fall of 2025. I will be attending as a part of the Honors College. I plan on double majoring in Finance and Accounting with aspirations of earning my masters one day. After college, I look forward to making myself a crucial part of a team, working to help people handle their money while earning myself a stable income."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Elizabeth!
