The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Isabella Beskur, a 2025 recipient of one of the 20 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards, one of the 10 Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards, and one of the three Tyler Niese Memorial Scholarship awards.
Isabella, the daughter of Jessica Beskur and Eric Beskur, is a 2025 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Tiffin University this fall and studying Digital Media.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I chose my intended major of Digital Media because of my passion and aptitude for creating digital works. At a young age, I acquired and educated myself on the software that has allowed me to design custom characters, content, and sound within video games. At Tiffin University, I will be focusing on Digital Media Audio Production, where I can expand my skills for sound editing and apply them not only to video game content, but other media forms as well, such as live event productions.
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"My dream is that Tiffin University will allow me to acquire my degree in Digital Media Audio Production and help me land an amazing job as a foley artist, dialogue editor, post-production sound specialist, or live sound engineer. I am excited to explore the many different avenues that I can use my degree in and decide which one is the path I will pursue for my future career. Whichever one of these careers I choose, I see myself succeeding in an industry that will allow me to continue to do what I love - create unique digital productions for others to enjoy."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Isabella!
