The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jillian Capretta, a 2025 recipient of one of the two Marvis Schaaf Scholarship awards.
Jillian, the daughter of Sarah Capretta and Casey Capretta, is a 2025 graduate of Galion High School. She is attending Baldwin Wallace University and studying Biology.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I chose Biology as my major because I have always loved science and truly found a love for Biology in my Bio II class with Mrs. Kent. In the future, I would like to go into the medical field, and Biology is a great major to gain all of the knowledge I need to do so."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate, I plan to enter the medical dosimetry program at the Cleveland Clinic. I want to become a medical dosimetrist because I want to help people through some of their toughest times."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Jillian!
