What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?

"My favorite part of college life is the opportunity to learn new things and make meaningful connections. Studying topics that genuinely interest me while networking with industry leaders who provide real-world insight into how I'll use my degree has been both beneficial and enjoyable."

What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?

"I've enjoyed courses that allow me to work hands-on with real world problems using top of the line software that's actually used in the workforce. Being able to participate in many classes like this has greatly enhanced my learning experience by allowing me to see the real world processes that we discussed in class."

How has the college experience changed/improved you?

"College has developed my problem-solving skills. Given the opportunity to explore many problems in the engineering field, I have been able to develop an effective skillset that will help me tackle these problems. Overall, while being at college, I have been able to become a more well-rounded student while improving my soft skills all around."

What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?

"My advice to incoming freshmen is to not be afraid of mistakes or failures. Not only in college, but in life in general, you are going to have many mistakes. These mistakes are okay- mistakes are the best way to learn. College is hard, and it will make you struggle, but in the end, the struggle turns you into a more capable individual and strengthens your skillset."

What is one item on your bucket list and why?

"One item on my bucket list is to make it to all the National Parks. I have always enjoyed nature, and the United States has one of the most diverse landscapes in the world. Being able to see all these parks would be very interesting."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Logan!
