The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Nathaniel Schiefer, a 2025 recipient of one of the four Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship awards.
Nathaniel, the son of Cynthia Schiefer and Gregory Schiefer, is a 2025 graduate of Wynford High School. He is attending The Ohio State University this fall and studying Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"Since I've grown up surrounded by agriculture, it wasn't a surprise when I found that I had a deep passion for it. In more recent years, engineering was the one thing that I could really see myself going into. When I found out about Agricultural Engineering as an option, I just knew it would be a good fit."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I hope to get a job in the field of Agricultural Engineering."
