2025 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Raven Storm Sharrock

Posted by Rachel Jarvis on Wed, Aug 20, 2025

Raven SharrockThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Raven Storm Sharrock, a 2025 recipient of one of the 20 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards.

Raven, the daughter of C. Aaron Sharrock, is a 2025 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. Raven is attending The Ohio State University Mansfield this fall and studying Musical Theater/Performing Arts.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I cannot remember the exact moment I fell in love with performing, but I love every aspect of the theater. Even though I always knew that I wanted to be a part of the theater and on the stage, I can honestly say that the first time I entered the Galion Community Theatre cemented this path as my career goal. I think that the support that I have received there was what pushed me to want to make this my major and no longer just be a small part of my life."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"My dream is to star on Broadway. That is the goal. Other than that, I want to be able to work in the theater, whether local or elsewhere. I want to help with every aspect. I would then like to teach and coach others so that they may be able to follow their dreams as well."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Raven!
