Foundation Staff

Lisa Workman, CFRE, President of the Foundation

Lisa became the President of the Foundation in June of 2014. She has vast experience in fundraising and managing large organizations that serve the public, including the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the United Way. Lisa is a Crestline High School alumni and has a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in non-fiction writing from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive from the CFRE International which certifies experienced fundraising professionals aspiring to the highest standards of ethics, competence and service in the philanthropic sector. Lisa is always happy to speak with individuals or groups on the various ways of supporting the Foundation, as well as answering any questions or concerns about our applications, fundraising, and website content.

Rachel Jarvis, Office and Program Manager

Rachel became the Office and Program Manager of the Foundation in May of 2022. She is a 2017 Galion High School graduate, and earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Women's Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2021. She has varied experience in advocacy and non-profit work. She was previously employed at the BGSU Center for Women and Gender Equity and currently serves on the governing board of United Way of North Central Ohio as well as the Board of Directors of the Galion Community Theatre. Rachel is also a certified Results-Based Accountability professional, which is the framework the Foundation uses for our grantmaking. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, maintaining our website and social media, and managing our grant and scholarship programs.

Cindi Welsh, Finance Officer

Cindi is a Bucyrus High alumni and graduated from Marion Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Accounting. She worked as a staff accountant at Mizick Miller & Associates for 28 and 1/2 years. She currently serves on the Crawford County 4-H Advisory Council and is the treasurer for the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association. She is a long-time supporter of the Foundation and has enjoyed learning more about the workings of the organization. Cindi is responsible for the financial aspects of the Foundation's activities and services.
