Lisa Workman, CFRE, President of the Foundation

Lisa became the President of the Foundation in June of 2014. She has vast experience in fundraising and managing large organizations that serve the public, including the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the United Way. Lisa is a Crestline High School alumni and has a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in non-fiction writing from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive from the CFRE International which certifies experienced fundraising professionals aspiring to the highest standards of ethics, competence and service in the philanthropic sector. Lisa is always happy to speak with individuals or groups on the various ways of supporting the Foundation, as well as answering any questions or concerns about our applications, fundraising, and website content.

Rachel Jarvis, Office and Program Manager

Rachel became the Office and Program Manager of the Foundation in May of 2022. She is a 2017 Galion High School graduate, and has earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Women's Studies from Bowling Green State University. She has varied experience in advocacy and non-profit work. She was previously employed at the BGSU Center for Women and Gender Equity and currently serves on the governing board of United Way of North Central Ohio as well as the Board of Directors of the Galion Community Theatre. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, maintaining our website and social media, and managing our grant and scholarship programs.

Michelle Poole, Finance Officer

Michelle became the part-time Finance Officer of the Foundation late June of 2023. Michelle has 22+ years of Military experience geared around operations, training, logistics, and readiness. She retired honorably in July 2021. She obtained her associate's degree from Ohio State University and adventured on to Franklin University, graduating with her B.S. in Accounting in May of 2023. Michelle may have graduated with high honors and been awarded several military awards and ribbons (to include the Combat Action Badge), but her greatest accomplishments are her boys: Nathaniel, Konner, Noah, and her two "fur-sons" adopted from the Humane Society, Darwin and Guillermo. Michelle handles all financial aspects of the Foundation.
