Designated Funds Supporting Bucyrus and
Crawford County Ohio
The Community Foundation for Crawford County is blessed to have approximately 90% of our funds unrestricted. These funds allow for ever-changing community needs - including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made. The Board of Trustees of the CF4CC works extremely hard to ensure that all aspects of the community are addressed within our grant making efforts. In 2008, the Bucyrus Area Community Foundation received a large (in excess of $1 million) unrestricted gift from the Elasssers' estate which added significantly to our unrestricted funds.
The Community Foundation for Crawford County also offers designated funds, which are set up by the donor to offer continued support to those charities of their choice. Examples of Community Foundation for Crawford County Designated Funds include:
- Bucyrus Public Library Fund established in memory of Marian E. and Norman H. Maynard
