Emergency Response

The Community Foundation for Crawford County has redirected the available discretionary funds from its Crawford Impact Fund this year to meet the resulting needs from our community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are prioritizing how we use these funds to ensure we are serving Crawford County and its citizens to the best of our abilities.  These funds will now be providing grants for basic needs and essential health and human services on a rolling basis to nonprofit organizations in Crawford County.  This will continue through the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs.

Organizations need to demonstrate that they are facing new and/or unmet financial burdens because of the COVID-19 crisis and may seek general operating revenue.  Nonprofits seeking assistance may apply through the link below.

To support this effort, we encourage donors to contribute to our Emergency Response Fund.  Every dollar donated to the Emergency Response Fund throughout 2020 will be used to assist nonprofits directly impacted by COVID-19.

To further support our nonprofit organizations experiencing financial difficulties, we will launch #Giving2sdayNow on May 5, 2020  at 8 a.m. as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic to raise operating funds for our local nonprofits.  Read More
