The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Alexandria Miller, a 2018 recipient of one of the five Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards and one of the Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.

Alexandria, the daughter William Miller and Christina Knauber, is a 2018 graduate of Crestline High School. She will be attending Bowling Green State University this fall and studying psychology.
Intrigued by a TV show, Alexandria chose to pursue psychology. “When I first figured out that psychology was the path I wanted to take I was watching a TV show. I saw that this psychologist was trying to help her patient’s mental health, and I became very interested,” she stated. “The human brain [and] how people think and react to different things is truly amazing to me. Not one single person acts the same way, and I would love to know more. Kids’ brains are even more interesting, which is what inspired me to be a school psychologist. I want to help kids [with their] ability to learn, and to succeed behaviorally, socially, academically and emotionally.” After graduation, Alexandria wants to work in a small public school. “While working as a school psychologist, I would like to start working towards my master’s degree. My biggest goal in my future career is to love what I do and never have to dread going to work the next day. Along with myself being successful, I want the kids I help to be successful too.”
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Alexandria!
