2020 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Katherine Wildenthaler

Wildenthaler, KatherineThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Katherine Wildenthaler, a 2020 recipient of one of the two Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards.

Katherine, the daughter of Andrea Wildenthaler, is a 2020 graduate of Galion High School. She will be attending Baldwin Wallace University this fall and majoring in film studies.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I have always had a deep and profound love for cinema. Whenever my family and I would go to the movies, I just remember loving every second of it from buying the tickets to watching the credits.”

 What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

After I graduate, I plan on applying for internships within the entertainment industry. My overall goal is to direct and produce films for Disney or one of their umbrella companies.”
