Gasuras, AnastaciaThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Anastacia Gasuras, a 2021 recipient of one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards.

Anastacia, the daughter of Christopher and Michelle Gasuras, is a 2021 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She will be attending Cleveland State University this fall and studying Spanish education.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I took four years of the Spanish language and absolutely loved it. I knew I wanted to continue my studies and become fluent. I have also always had the dream of helping others and becoming a teacher. I put the two together and thought it would be the perfect job for me.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“After I graduate college, I would love to become financially stable within my career choice. I want to own my own home and car eventually. I would also love to save money to travel the world and the many Spanish speaking countries.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Anastacia!
