Pope, Brynn

The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Brynn Pope, a 2021 recipient of one of the nineteen Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards, one of the two James E. Huggins, Sr. and Margaret M. Huggins Agricultural Scholarship awards, one of the four Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards, and one of the three Robert Schwaderer Scholarship awards.

Brynn, the daughter of Bryan and Rebecca Pope, is a 2021 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She will be attending Wilmington College this fall and studying agriculture education and agronomy.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for agriculture. As I grew up I also discovered that I loved helping others with their schoolwork and seeing their face light up when they figured something out. These combined have inspired me to pursue agriculture education in hopes of helping students become the best version of themselves while also teaching them about the ever important field of agriculture.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“After graduation I hope to get a job teaching somewhere close to the community. I want to make a positive impact on not only the lives of students, but also on my school's community.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Brynn!
