Williams, LyndieThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Lyndie Williams, a 2021 recipient of one of the four Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship awards.

Lyndie, the daughter of Ray and JoLyn Williams, is a 2021 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending The Ohio State University this fall and studying agribusiness and applied economics.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I have always been interested in agriculture because I have grown up on my family’s grain farm and actively participated in 4-H and FFA. My biggest decision was determining which avenue in agriculture I wanted to pursue. My senior project, which was job shadowing at Poet Biorefining-Marion, helped me tremendously in making this decision.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“After graduating college, I plan to work at an agriculture business. More specifically, I would like to be a grain buyer or merchandiser.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Lyndie!
