Alsept, TannerThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Tanner Alsept, a 2021 recipient of one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.

Tanner, the son of Kenneth and Lisa Alsept, is a 2021 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He will be attending Tiffin University this fall and studying computer science and system administration.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“I've always enjoyed solving challenging mathematics as well as working with computers. Naturally I chose a career that allowed me to do both of those things and that being an actuary.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“My goals after college are to go into the work force to become an actuary at an insurance company. Some of my life goals are just to be able to have a stable living as well as have the opportunity to give back to my community.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Tanner!
