Posted by Rachel Jarvis on Thu, Jul 07, 2022

Allison Lust The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Allison  Lust, a 2022 recipient of one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD  Scholarship awards, one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship  awards, the Mount Zion Milton Harmon Scholarship award, and the Nancy  Angene Johnson Scholarship award.

Allison, the daughter of Matthew and Holly Lust, is a 2022 graduate of Wynford  High School. She will be attending The Ohio State University this fall and  studying Primary Education.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

“My first-grade teacher, Mrs. Rall, and my fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Parthemore, inspired me to choose my intended major. Having both of them as my teachers made me eager to go to school each day because they showed they cared about their students so much and made each lesson in class interesting. This inspired me to go into education and hopefully become the kind of teachers they both were to me.”

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

“After college I plan to obtain a teaching career at an elementary school while also selling crop insurance. In the future I would like to receive my master's in education.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Allison!
