2022 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Hannah Delong

Hannah Delong The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce  Hannah Delong, a 2022 recipient of the Stan and Carolyn DeGreve Scholarship  award.

 Hannah, the daughter of Keven Delong and Shayla Delong, is a 2021 graduate  of Crestline High School. She is entering her third year of a bachelor's degree in  Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies at The Ohio State University this  fall.

 

What is your favorite aspect of college life?

"My favorite aspect of college life is gaining independence and having complete control of my efforts toward shaping my future!"

What new interest or courses of study have you discovered at college?

"Forensics, behavioral studies, and criminological theories."

In what ways has the college experience changed/improved you?

"College has improved my abilities of time management, focus, and overall arrangement of priorities."

What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?

"Meet new people and get different perspectives! Put school first, but always make time for yourself to do things that you love, including discovering new ones!"

What is one item on your bucket list?

"Travel to different countries! I would love to learn more about different cultures and see more of what the world has to offer."
