Jalyn Lyons The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jalyn  Lyons, a 2022 recipient of one of the two The Dr. Laurie Anne Rhodebeck  Memorial Scholarship awards and one of the two John W. Brubaker, Jr.  Scholarship awards.

Jalyn, the daughter of Kyle Ray Lyons and Jamie Lynn Lyons, is a 2022  graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Bowling Green State  University this fall and studying Inclusive Early Childhood Education.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"The main inspiration for going into my major was my teachers that I have had throughout my lifetime. I have had several teachers who have had major impacts on my life and have helped me become the person I am today. I hope to do all of the same for my future students."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"After I graduate from college, I hope to come back to Bucyrus or find another small town just like it to work in. I hope to find an amazing school to work for where I can help students accomplish their goals and dreams. I want to become the best teacher I can be."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Jalyn!
