The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Kennedy Pine, a 2022 recipient of one of the three Tyler Niese Memorial Scholarship awards.
Kennedy, the daughter of Joseph Pine and Christy Dunn, is a 2022 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending University of Toledo and studying Biology.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I have always loved science and true crime. With my chosen major, I would be able to combine the two subjects I adore into a job so it was a very simple choice for me."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I hope to move out of Ohio and become a forensic biologist."
