The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Lydia Pfeifer, a 2022 recipient of one of the three Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship awards.
Lydia, the daughter of Ed Pfeifer and Jenny Lynne Pfeifer, is a 2022 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending Cedarville University this fall and studying Allied Health.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"The major that I have chosen will allow me to get the prerequisites necessary for physician assistant school. I was inspired to become a physician assistant because I love science and the health care field. After job shadowing, I knew I wanted to help patients in the same way that I observed."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I plan to complete a Master's Degree in order to become a physician assistant. I am unsure of the exact job that I will purse, but I am very interested in surgery."
